Increase in rental income, operating surplus and income from property management

- We continue our profitable growth. In the first half of the year our rental income increased by 17% compared with the same period previous year, largely thanks to our recently finalized projects. We continue our dedicated work on cost management, and this proves to have a positive effect on our operating surplus, which increased by 19%, according to Johanna Hult Rentsch, CEO at Platzer. We delivered a positive net letting of SEK 1 million in the quarter, the 15th consecutive quarter with a positive result. We are proud to have achieved such achievements but remain humble of future changes in demand due to current recession. During second quarter, the volume of renegotiated leases was amongst the largest ever noted, with rent levels rising by 11%.

The period (1 January – 30 June 2024)

• Rental income increased to SEK 811 million (691), increased by 17%
• Operating surplus increased to SEK 640 million (538), increased by 19%
• Income from property management increased to SEK 345 million (312)
• Profit for the period increased to SEK 127 million (-329)
• Value of property portfolio amounted to SEK 28,432 million (28,250)

The quarter (1 April – 30 June 2024)

• Net lettings amounted to SEK 1 million (9)
• Reached record levels in terms of renegotiated leases
• Re-affirmation of Investment Grade credit rating confirmed
• Achieved an award for progress in circular construction processes and recycling
• Grand re-opening of the office building Aria
